ha. just woke up. super late. may go and sleep more later cause my field camp is on tues. booking in tonight at 2030. field camp is the time in ns that you will hit your dirtiest, smelliest, most tired, most _____ state ever in your life. not being able to shower for the entire duration. keeping camouflage on throughout, very little sleep, diving, jumping, proning, crawling in mud. but its the most fun experience i guess, eating combat rations(yucks, haha), throwing smoke grenades, prowling thru the night, building our camp site. but GOD please keep the weather at bay coz if it rains it will be chaos for the entire company. coz it has been raining alot of cat 1's(unsuitable for field training) over the past few days. i should be booking out on friday if everything looks good.
lets see, what have i learnt so far. went to the imt four times already, cleared all the practices and the test and therefore got to book out earlier at 0945 yesterday. cleared technical handling test also where had to strip rifle and assemble rifle in under 60secs, load magazine with 30rounds in 60secs, immediate action drills, weapon loading/unloading drill, proning coin test? haha. anyway quite fun la. except the routine of waking up at 5am every morning. *yawns*. ok gotta go pack. take care guys. =)
