i was digging through my chest of drawers yesterday and i found this really old book that my former music director gave me 7 years ago. Real life worship by phil connew. Its like a spiritual/technical worship guide. There are some books that will hit you for life. This was one of them it was one of the first books if not the first book that i read that gave me an insight/understand of what worship was all about. the nature of worship,anionting,freeworship,sundaybest.etc. and i am where i am in my influence in worship definately because of some stuff picked up in the book. i read thru the first chapter last night and lotsa memories came back to me. 1999 was the year i picked up guitar(literally from the ground). as in THE YEAR. i learnt the classical, moved to acoustic and in 2002 moved to electric. Really reminded me of the old times, i was just secondary three then. those were the most fun(thanks to my wacky friends and classmates),carefree(with the exeption of exam stress) seasons of my life. anyway....
Getting quite busy this period with IMF opening tommorow. thank god i'm on leave tmrw to go for glenns pop parade.
